چکیده
Abstract Background Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) is an infectious worldwide pandemic triggered by severe acute respiratory coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). This can lead to pro-inflammatory activation with associated lung injury and distress syndrome. Main body of the abstract SARS-CoV-2 infection linked inhibition adenosine phosphodiesterase. Dipyridamole (DIP) a nucleoside transport phosphodiesterase inhibitor so that it may potentially affect its accompanying inflammations. Therefore, primary objective this mini-review study was elucidate potential beneficial impacts DIP on adenosinergic pathway in Covid-19. A systemic search done using online databases relevant keywords. The findings present illustrated directly or indirectly, through augmentation phosphodiesterase, mitigates Covid-19 outcomes. Conclusion Our concluded has therapeutic effect management treatment could be attained either directly, anti-SARS-CoV-2, anti-inflammatory, anti-platelets properties, extracellular adenosine, which anti-inflammatory immune-regulatory effects. However, extensive randomized clinical trials, prospective research area are required demonstrate safety efficacy modulators

Pursuing the "Holy Grail".
Over the past decade, several large, randomized trials have allowed us to better define the appropriate population for primary prevention implantable cardioverterdefibrillator (ICD) placement, saving thousands of lives every year. MADIT II (Multicenter Automatic Defibrillator Implantation Trial II) and SCD-HeFT (Sudden Cardiac Death in Heart Failure Trial) have demonstrated a survival benefit o...
متن کاملClusia: Holy Grail and enigma.
Clusia is the only genus with bona fide dicotyledonous trees performing Crassulacean acid metabolism (CAM). Clusia minor L. is extraordinarily flexible, being C(3)/CAM intermediate and expressing the photosynthetic modes C(3), CAM, CAM-cycling, and CAM-idling. C(3) photosynthesis and CAM can be observed simultaneously in two opposite leaves on a node and possibly even within the same leaf in th...
متن کاملFood Taxes: A New Holy Grail?
In an effort to reduce the growing prevalence of overweight and obesity, food taxes have been introduced in several European countries, the so-called ‘obesitax’. As yet little evidence is at hand, policy measures are being taken to counterweight the consumption of unhealthy food or the increasing diet-related diseases. Several questions need to be discussed, starting from a general perspective:...
متن کاملBisphosphonates for osteoarthritis prevention: "Holy Grail" or not?
The search for effective disease modifying osteoarthritis (OA) agents has been a long and winding road with much unrealised promise. While a debate persists about whether OA is predominately a disease of bone, cartilage, or both, there has been interest in the possible OA disease modifying effects of bone antiresorptive agents including oestrogens, selective oestrogen receptor modulators, calci...
متن کاملThe Holy Grail of Psychiatry
"Holy Grail" is a well-known metaphor for the eternal spiritual pursuit for truth and wisdom. It suggests that in order for us to find what no one has found, we must search where few have looked. In 2013, a group led by Helen Mayberg published a groundbreaking paper that sought an answer to one of the most discussed conundrums in psychiatry and neuroscience: Can specific patterns of brain activ...
